HYPHEN · Double Shot Radiance Lift Serum
Brand Film & Social Launch
Prerika Singh
Double Shot Radiance Lift Serum Brand Film & Social Launch. Develop an end-to-end social media campaign for HYPHEN's Double Shot Radiance Lift Serum, one of our bestsellers.
The campaign turns Double Shot's two-phase formula into a simple idea: different things can work better together. The film tells this through the love story of the two liquids, while social and creator content extends it through unexpected pairings, crossovers and interactive experiences.
This makes Double Shot feel more than just another brightening serum — it becomes a product with its own personality, visual world and ritual, built around the idea of two sides coming together for one brighter result. The shake itself becomes part of the campaign language, while the idea of two different things working better together gives HYPHEN a playful and highly shareable way to talk about brightening without falling into the usual ingredient-heavy skincare advertising.
“Made for Each Other. Made for Your Skin.” turns the two parts of HYPHEN Double Shot Radiance Lift Serum into a simple love story. One is a rich golden liquid, the other is a light, clear watery liquid. They look and behave completely differently, but as the film goes on, they slowly realise they work better together.
They never become actual characters. There are no faces, voices or human features. Instead, we understand what they are feeling through the way they move like stopping, tilting, copying each other, getting closer and pulling away. What starts as confusion slowly turns into curiosity, flirting and attraction, until one shake finally brings them together.
The result is a film where the product demonstration itself becomes the story where two distinct elements are brought together to create one “glowing” result.
The golden and clear liquids are treated like the two leads in a tiny romantic film, while still looking like real, premium skincare textures.
Their emotions come through very small movements. A tilt feels like curiosity. Copying each other feels like flirting. Reaching out feels like making the first move. Pulling away after touching feels like shyness.
What makes the idea fun is that they are still just liquids, but the audience can understand exactly what is happening between them. The film feels like a cute love story, which makes the product demonstration more entertaining. The storytelling therefore sits between a luxury skincare film and a cute romantic short, creating something unexpected enough to make viewers want to see how the relationship ends.
The film opens in a clean, bright white space. A warm golden liquid flows in from one side, while a clear, watery liquid enters from the other. They slowly move towards each other until they suddenly notice one another and stop. The liquid sounds stop too, creating a small, awkward silence. Both rise into simple droplet-like shapes. Gold tilts slightly, almost as if asking, “What are you?” Water pauses and tilts back. Gold does it again, and Water responds. Small, playful sounds with each movement make it feel like the two are having their own little conversation.
They slowly become curious about each other. Gold stretches, and Water copies it. Water makes a small ripple, and Gold tries the same. Soon, they are copying each other back and forth, almost like a game. Their movements become more playful and slowly start matching. What began as two strangers trying to understand each other starts to feel like they are flirting.
As they get more comfortable, they start moving closer. The playful energy becomes slower and a little shy. Gold reaches out with a tiny drop, and Water reaches back. They come closer and closer until they finally touch for just a second. Everything goes quiet. But they quickly separate again, both wobbling and pulling away.
For a moment, neither moves. Then they slowly turn towards each other again. Clearly, neither of them wants to leave. Small drops of Gold and Water begin moving around each other, showing that the initial curiosity has now turned into something more. They like each other.
Suddenly, the entire world shakes. Gold and Water are thrown around, bumping into each other and being pulled apart again. At first, everything feels messy and out of control. But slowly, something changes. Instead of moving separately, they begin moving together. Gold flows through Water, Water moves around Gold, and the two create a beautiful golden and clear swirl. For the first time, they are completely in sync.
The camera then starts pulling back. This is when we get the surprise: the entire love story has been happening inside a bottle of HYPHEN Double Shot Radiance Lift Serum. The shake that finally brought Gold and Water together was simply someone shaking the bottle before using it.
What looked like a cute love story between two unlikely liquids was actually the story of Double Shot and its two different sides that work better together.

HYPHEN Double Shot Radiance Lift Serum
No traditional voiceover. The story would be conveyed through movement, sound and music. Keeping the liquids silent will also make the film feel more premium and let the audience give their own meaning to their little interactions.
HYPHEN Double Shot Radiance Lift Serum has two distinct elements in one bottle. The water-based part brings the brightening side of the formula, including ingredients such as Mandarin Extract, Niacinamide and Polyglutamic Acid, while the oil-based part supports collagen production and skin regeneration, ingredients such as Bakuchiol and Rosehip Oil.

The bottle is shaken before use, bringing the two sides together. Our film turns this simple product behaviour into the central idea.
The film should look like premium skincare but feel like a cute romantic short film. A clean white world keeps the focus on the two photorealistic liquids. Their personalities come only through movement like pauses show awkwardness, tilts show curiosity, mirroring feels like flirting, and recoiling after a touch feels like embarrassment. This is what gives the film its personality without ever adding faces, arms or expressions.
The camera stays very close to the liquids for most of the film. This also helps hide where the story is actually taking place. Only towards the end does the camera pull out and reveal the bottle. ASMR liquid sounds, playful musical notes and moments of silence help bring their relationship to life without any dialogue.
Overall, the film should feel clean, warm, playful and slightly unexpected, something people might initially watch because they want to know what these two strange liquids are doing, and later realise they have been watching a skincare ad.
Keeps the focus on the two photorealistic liquids.
Without ever adding faces, arms or expressions.
Hiding where the story is actually taking place, until the end.
Bringing the relationship to life without any dialogue.
Seven days, four phases. Three of them are playable here.
Start with a mysterious teaser Reel made of extreme close-ups of the two textures without showing the liquid characters fully. Keep the edit short and slightly cryptic, ending with a line like “Something is about to meet its match.”
“Something is about to meet its match.”

Something is about to
meet its match.
On Day 2, we make the audience part of the campaign through a quick, playful personality test on Instagram Stories. We will do a that poll helps people discover which of the two campaign aesthetics they relate to more: Golden Hour Energy or Fresh Dew Energy. The questions would have each choice subtly inspired by the two elements of Double Shot.
We can ask questions like “Your ideal plan: sunset drinks or slow morning coffee?”, “Your style: bold statement pieces or clean minimal looks?”, “Your energy: warm and expressive or calm and effortless?”, “Your perfect light: golden hour or soft morning light?”, and then at the end, users get their result.
↗ Playable — try it on the phone
Question 1 of 4
We will release the opening part of the film where they enter, move towards each other, stop, recoil, rise into their forms and tilt at each other in confusion. Then cut and the text appears “Well… this is awkward.” or “What happens now?”
“Well… this is awkward.” / “What happens now?”

Well… this is awkward.
Opening part of the filmWe take the idea of “made for each other” beyond skincare and turn it into fun content around unexpected combinations that somehow just work. Creators and HYPHEN can test or show pairings like cucumber + sugar, which people often say gives a watermelon-like taste, fries + ice cream, coffee + orange juice, traditional wear + sneakers, or even an introvert + an extrovert. The content should feel light, surprising and very shareable, with each pairing ending on the same thought: “Different on their own yet better together.”
↗ Playable — shuffle the pairings
Different on their own yet better together.
Day 5 is where everything finally comes together. The full brand film goes live across HYPHEN's social channels, showing the complete journey of the two liquids. The ending reveals that this whole love story was happening inside the HYPHEN Double Shot Radiance Lift Serum bottle.
The film should be supported by Stories that push people to watch the full Reel, along with a clean product post that explains the core idea in one line: two different elements, brought together in one serum.
The key message would be: “Made for Each Other. Made for Your Skin.”
“Made for Each Other. Made for Your Skin.”

Made for Each Other.
Made for Your Skin.
Turn the product ritual into a simple website interaction. Users see the two serum phases sitting separately on screen with the prompt “Shake to bring them together.” When they physically shake their phone, the liquids mix. Once they are fully mixed, the Double Shot bottle is revealed along with a simple explanation of what each phase brings and why the product needs to be shaken before use.

Pair two creators from completely different content worlds for example, a beauty creator + comedy creator, fashion creator + fitness creator, or food creator + lifestyle creator and get them to make one piece of content together that blends both of their styles. The Double Shot Serum is naturally worked into the content, showing how two different worlds can still come together perfectly.

Two creators.
One piece of content.
Build product credibility by showing the two phases, shake-before-use step, application and final glow in a natural routine.
Take “Made for Each Other” beyond skincare through styling, routines and unexpected combinations that work well together.
Make the idea more fun and shareable through humour around opposites, unlikely pairings and relationships.
Pair creators from different spaces, like beauty + comedy or fashion + fitness, to create one piece of content together that blends both their styles.
Choose a world from each side.
Creators showcase unusual combinations that surprisingly work well together , from food pairings to fashion, habits or personalities, tying back to the idea of “Made for Each Other.”
Two creators from different categories collaborate and blend both their content styles in one Reel.
Beauty creators focus on the satisfying two-phase shake, mix and application.
Creator duos play on how different they are and why those differences actually make them work better together.
To keep the campaign organic, creators should not follow one fixed script. Each creator should use “Made for Each Other” in a way that fits their usual content style and audience. The serum should appear naturally within the story rather than feeling like a forced product placement.

Please note — this is a concept film, made with limited resources purely for reference. The actual brand film would be far more refined and better executed.
